In this presentation Martin Gill will discuss work he has undertaken with offenders generally, and fraudsters specifically to better understand their approaches to crime. Drawing on extensive interviews with fraudsters in prison he will outline how offenders say they choose targets, what makes them easy and what makes them difficult, and what the roles of humans are in offering an impediment to crime.
