The importance of senior management support

The various reviews into government data losses in 2007 showed how important it is to have top-level commitment, responsibility and accountability for Information Assurance. More than a year after the Data Handling Review, this presentation will consider how its creation of mandatory senior IA roles is working in practice, with a particular focus on how seniors in government are coming to terms with their responsibilities for leading IA cultural change in their organisations.
